What should I expect?

Our practices start with warm-ups, then work on skills for each position, then usually end in some games or scrimmages. Because we are members of Quidditch Canada, we also sometimes study the rules and work on strategies.

To your first practice, you should bring:
  • Water bottle
  • Clothing and shoes you can run in
  • Layers you can take off or put on (because weather in Alberta)
  • Enthusiasm!

Many people find it easier to understand the game by watching it. Here are some videos to help get you started:
  • Rules of Quidditch
  • Central Alberta Quidditch YouTube Channel

And of course, if you still have questions about the game, please read this page or contact us. We'd be glad to answer all your questions!
